View Full Version : HELP! A screen says my post will not be saved when I indicate "post" after a reply

Hi Everyone,
I have lost many posts...I click "reply". The text box opens up. I write and write. When I'm done, I hit "submit new thread" or "submit" or whatever. Then a message box pops up telling me that I have indicated I'd like to leave the page, and my work may not be saved. If I hit cancel, the text box I wrote in stays there. If I hit okay, I don't know what happens to my post, and I never see it.

What is going on? How can I post a reply to a thread and be sure that it will post???

Thank you! Hopefully this makes it!

Sometimes the posts get sent to a que where the moderator will send them to the forum and this has happened with mine also. I not sure if this has something to do with the cookies saved to your computer. Most of the "lost posts" do eventually show up. And it doesn't happen all the time with mine - just here and there. So there isn't any rhyme or reason to it that I can see.

Hi cutiepix9,

I'm very sorry you're having trouble with posting. Please don't click on the oblong green box that says "Reply to Thread", but instead type in the Quick Reply white box. That will help a lot, and everything you need (bold, smilies, etc.) is available in the Quick Reply box.

Sometimes posts do go to the Moderator's Queue, as JustForToday said, but I've checked just now and the Queue is empty.

Please let us know in this forum if you're still having trouble. Also, please check this post:

Thank you,

Hi JustForToday,
You need to click "Post Quick Reply". This is definitely a weird styling bug in Vbulletin, I am currently looking into a fix for the issue..

I just turned off quick reply until the styling issue is fixed.
