View Full Version : Day 1 meal

How does this meal look. This is my first day so let me know if this is on track.
Breakfast-- I had 1 cup of brown rice, 1cup sliced peaches, 1 cup of beans + 2oz, 1/2 cup of cooked green beans.
Lunch (4hours later--) I finished what I couldn't eat for breakfast along with 1 cup of salad and 1/2 cup of cooked green beans with 1/2 tbsp olive oil
Dinner (5 hours later)--I had 1 cup wild rice, 1 cup brown lentils, 1/2 cup cucumber/celery juice, 1 cup salad with 1/2T olive oil and lime juice

Welcome to food addicts anonymous, below is a link to the food plan. If you have any questions please call me or text me 4847881991. You are on the right track. I do not see vegetables on the food plan for breakfast. I do see 1 grain, 1 dairy, 1 fruit and 1 protein. You do have 1 cup cooked brown rice, 1 cup sliced peaches? The food plan suggests one large peach fresh is best, 1 cup of beans for protein, the food plan suggests a dairy or 2 oz of protein or a 1/2 cup beans Keep it simple. Do you have a sponsor? I got the meals mixed up with vegetable servings, and didn't have any other fruit available. I have gotten some plan approved fruit now and found a temp sponsor. The more people I have keeping me accountable the better.

I sure can relate to that quote, I send my food to 10 other food addicts daily via email some I call on the phone, I have been doing this for over one year, I am growing and have surrendered by following good orderly direction it keeps my mind clear! I am so thankful for them all they help keep me honest and give me hope & willingness, just as each and every food addict that crosses my path I need to stay abstinent so I can carry the message to those who are still suffering. Keep coming back Ebony and journey along with us on the road to an abstinent recovery!!!

So glad you have a food sponsor we can not do this alone

Ebony,

If you don't have a whole peach available, you can have peach slices instead. The weight on that would be 6 ounces.
