hi, i have just heard about FA and was wanting to join but there is no mtg offered in my area. is it possible to do this online? thks

Yes we have two ohnline meetings on Saturday at 11:am and Sunday at 1pm in the chat room
just click below our website for support and then you can click to get into the mtgs.

You mentioned that you had heard of FA and wanted to join. FA is actually a different program than ours, which is FAA, Food Addicts Anonymous. There is a very useful thread on this topic here in Online Support which will give you an idea of the differences between FA and FAA:

Go to the Forum called "For the Newcomer" here in Online Support. The thread's title is "Difference between FARecovery Anonymous and FAA?" Currently it is at the bottom of p. 1 of the threads, but for anyone looking at this at a later date, it may have moved to p. 2.

If you should decide that FAA is for you, then you are very welcome and we're glad you're here. Wherever you decide to go, I think the important thing is that you find an opportunity to recover from food addiction.

P.S. Not only is FAA available for Online Meetings, but also for phone meetings. The phone meetings are wonderful, too.
