Italian Dressing Recipe Anyone?
My heart is broken! Newman's Own Olive Oil & Vinegar Dressing now has sugar in it! Check your bottles! At least here in Oklahoma it does. So with that does anyone have a good recipe to replace my good ol' Paul dressing?
Hmmm here in RI, Newman's Own Olive Oil and Vinegar is fine. It is always possible to make your own dressing. I often make my own with olive oil, or some other great oil like walnut, or grapeseed oil. I add in my own vinegar and spices and I am good to go!
Another good dressing is 1T clean Mayo such as Dukes or Trader Joes, 1T plain lowfat Yogurt and 1T salsa (clean of course). Mix all together.
In Service,
Another loving food addict
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup oil
1 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
2 T. dried parsley (seems like a lot but put it all in)
Shake well and chill.
Also for garlic lovers, I always add several whole gloves of garlic for a delicious flavor.
