- I've been sober since 2001 and my husband, who is also sober, has been an active FAA for 5 years. He has been abstinent 3 years. I have recently come to believe that I belong in FAA also. I fell to my knees and God gave me the answers that this is what I need to do. I started 1/31/2012.
