Keep coming here, posting, going to all kinds of meetings that are available to you. You will here lots of e/s/h shared by others in program. Soon you will be noticing that you feel more comfortable around certain individuals. When it is the right time and you fedl comfortable doing it, ask them if they will be your sponsor. Some will do it temporarily. That will get you started.

Some members have lots of e-mail contact with their sponsors, and will send them writings, etc. It's also suggested in FAA that this type of sponsorship be supplemented with phone calls as well, because it's harder to hide what we're really feeling as we can sometimes do with Internet contact.

There are FAA online meetings in the FAA Chat Room each weekend, plus something called the FAA Loop. The Loop is an e-mail FAA meeting. Information on different kinds of FAA meetings, and suggestions on how to find a sponsor, can be found here:
