Newby - struggling with restriction

hi my name is liz and i am a suffering anorexic. I dont really know what to do or how to begin, I am lost and just really scared. I would like a sponser or someone who understands, and willing to maybe give me advice on where to begin or what to do. I am at a loss and having family tension on top of my restricting problem. anything would be nice, thanks!

There have been many who have found support in FAA for restricting.

It really depends on how comfortable you are at sharing at meetings or taking the names and contact info of those who say things you relate to at meetings. Some people don't have any problem with this and others, like me, find it difficult to say the least. Many begin with the FAALoop meeting which is a 24/7 Loop meeting on the Yahoo/groups. Can google it to find the page where you register for it or the link on this website is on the same page for the Online meetings (above the icon of the computer). I have found all of my sponsors on the Loop meeting. I prayed to my Higher Power, who I choose to call God, for guidance with this and when I felt that gentle nudge to contact someone, I took a deep breath and just did it.
