Recovering in Baltimore???

I am looking to make a connection with another person in recovery who is located in the greater Baltimore area...female would be great. I am new to this forum & inching closer to attending my first meeting, but would love a 1:1 connection first...thank you!

Hi Maryafan - Welcome to FAA!

A good place to find folks from all over the country, including Maryland, is in phone meetings. There are several phone meetings available daily to choose from:

Maryland has face-to-face FAA meetings in Rockville, Silver Spring, and Frederick. Don't know if any of those are close to you?

If you like, you can call the contact person for those meetings and speak with them to get a feel for FAA in Maryland. But even if you are able to get to a face-to-face meeting each week, you can also supplement that with phone, online, or Loop meetings if you'd like. Lots of meetings are a HUGE help in early abstinence. FAA has a suggestion that some follow which is to attend 90 meetings in 90 days (known as "90 in 90").
