    Gum?

    Just joined & doing a grocery trip after work tomorrow & normally get chewing gum to help curb any cravings.... I am gathering I need to stop this habit because it can trigger cravings... Am I correct? Thanks much!!!

    That's right, the natural and artificial sweeteners in the gum can trigger the cravings. I really don't miss the gum now and the natural taste of the foods I eat now are satisfying in a way that the gum never really was....

    Keep coming back - this plan of recovery really does work.

    There aren't any silly questions you can ask, Suzie. If you are like most of us, this was all brand new to you when you arrived at FAA. I would recommend going to some FAA meetings as soon as possible. There are four types available and many of us go to more than one type.
