EMOTIONAL MEAL PLAN
Appeals to our senses four times a day with these:
Smell
Touch
Visual
Sound
When we think or say negative things about ourselves, say out loud, “I take it back” then replace the negative thing you have said with a positive.
To heal our body image and our ability to receive:
• Each morning and/or at night
use a special scented oil or body lotion and rub it lovingly on your body
this appeals to our sense of touch and smell
• To help us go to sleep
light a scented candle, potpourri or incense
play soft music or
affirmation tapes in your own voice if possible.
• At least once each day, please your inner child
“ be in nature”
with birds, flowers, clouds, water or animals
buy the “kid” a treat
get “petted”
take a bubble bath
get a massage
• Try to do these things gently
start with five minutes, use a small spoon, feeding gently,
so you won’t be overwhelmed with goodness
• Borrow words about yourself from someone who loves you
____________ says, “You are kind, smart handsome, beautiful, etc.
• Look into the mirror and tell yourself the truth
• This is as important as the foods you eat and is a way to
increase the capacity for goodness in our emotional tummy
